ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL IN PLAYA LAGARTO GUANACASTE 2024-25

The Ocaso Festival 2024 kicks off the year in its seventh edition. This event returns with a new location, Playa Lagarto, located between Tamarindo and Nosara, and five nights of music.

The festival, recognized as the epicenter of techno and house in the country at the beginning of each year, presents an impressive line up with world-renowned artists such as Mind Against, John Summit, Seth Troxler, Mano Le Tough, among others.

“John Summit is now one of the strongest acts, an artist who sells thousands of tickets every time he plays. Seth Troxler has a great career and has played at Ocaso before, there is Mind Against, who is very famous and always plays at After Life and Mita Gami and Adam Ten, who have become known for their sets at Burning Man,” said Michael Katz, partner and producer of the event.

La nueva locación, The Bohemian Lagarto, ofrece un espacio más amplio y cómodo para los asistentes. Se trata de una finca frente a la playa de 100 hectáreas, equipada con un sistema de sonido de última generación Funktion One, que ofrece opciones de acampar y glamping en la playa.

Since its inception, Ocaso Festival has been the meeting point for music, nature and culture lovers. More than a festival, it is a socially conscious and environmentally friendly space.

“We have done six clean ups in collaboration with Clean Wave, both before and after the event, we have done two in San José, two in Tamarindo and two in Nosara. Now before the Festival we will do one in Playa Lagarto. For us it is a priority to be a good neighbor and we have a great cleaning team that will be working during the festival, in addition, we are a sustainable festival, we do not use single-use plastic,” said Michael Katz, partner and producer of the event.

For its seventh edition, Ocaso Festival presents an enhanced backstage experience, expanded food and beverage service, promising five full days of music, international and local artists.
